(More customer reviews)This costume is obviously designed to appeal to the average westerners' misinformed illusions of what bellydance is. Real bellydancers do NOT dress like this, and this is NOT a real bellydancing costume in any way shape or form.
However, ignorant people who think that belly dance is about sex and sexual arousal will no doubt get a big kick out of this costume, even though it obviously belongs in a Frederick's of Hollywood catalogue.
I also have yet to see a "gypsy" (Romani) dancer who wears anything like this for performance.
